Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept Debit cards, Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
Minimum order £5 in value of goods (excluding shipping costs).
When confirmation of order is received by you, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
BILTONG & DRY WORS:
Please note that all of the cured meats continue to lose moisture and therefore weight, on an ongoing basis. The weights of the biltong and dry wors will be correct at the time of packing, but will probably have lost some weight by the time you receive them. This is a natural process.

England, Scotland (excluding the Highlands), Wales:
- orders up to 100g - £1.50
- orders up to 1kg - £4
- orders up to 20kg - £8, plus 50p per kg thereafter
- orders of £70 or more of goods where the weight is a maximum of 20kg - FREE DELIVERY - the delivery charge will show on your order, but WILL BE DEDUCTED BEFORE YOUR CARD IS CHARGED which happens when we process your order
Scottish Highlands:
- orders up to 1kg - £4
- orders up to 2kg - £7
- orders up to 4kg - £9
- orders up to 6kg - £12
- orders up to 20kg - £20, plus 50p per kg thereafter
Isle of Wight:
- orders up to 1kg - £4
- orders up to 2kg - £7
- orders up to 4kg - £9
- orders up to 6kg - £12
- orders up to 8kg - £15
- orders up to 10kg - £18, plus 50p per kg thereafter
Channel Islands, Isle of Man and other UK Islands (these parcels can take up to 5 days):

The rest of the World - these parcels can take up to 14 days and have to be sent in parcels with a maximum weight of 2kg each

Parcels may also be collected and then there is no shipping charge if you would like to order online and pre-pay before the order is collected.
Delivery Schedule
Goods will be delivered by courier or Royal Mail to the home or office address stipulated by you between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday-Friday (except public holidays).
Provided that items are in stock, delivery to UK mainland addresses is usually within 1 to 3 working days after your order has been placed.
If any of your items are not in stock, we will contact you by email.
If nobody is at your delivery address when your order is delivered, your goods will be either left with a neighbour; left in a secure place or taken to the courier’s nearest depot, in which case you should arrange for collection or re-delivery.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
